Israel And God’s Everlasting Covenant
Israel And God’s Everlasting Covenant

The nation of Israel, and the Jewish people, have always had a special relationship with God!
Most Christians have heard the story of how God made a covenant with Abraham. A covenant that He also confirmed with Isaac, the son of Sarah, the ‘son of promise’. In Genesis 17:3-8, the scriptures state, Then, Abram fell on his face and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also, I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”
In Numbers 23:19, we read, “God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent.” And that is so true! You can trust any promise or covenant that God has made, because he does not lie. God is a covenant-keeping supreme and holy being. Isaiah 40:8 states, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Click the link below for an excellent white paper, which explains the everlasting covenant that God made with Abraham and his descendants, the Jewish people. This Valley of Decision_ Israel According to the Word

Courtney Vogel’s Bio:
Courtney Vogel writes from a deep conviction that God’s Word is to be understood faithfully and as it is written. Years ago, the Lord placed a burden on her heart to search the Scriptures regarding His enduring promises to Israel—promises that have not been revoked, redefined, or spiritually reassigned, but remain binding and await their literal fulfillment. What began as a question grew into years of careful study—especially in the Old Testament prophets and eschatological passages—through which God’s heart toward Israel became unmistakably clear to her.
With a background in natural medicine, Courtney brings a thoughtful, disciplined, and researched approach to Scripture, marked by a desire for clarity and truth. This white paper is the outgrowth of that journey: a Scripture-centered examination of the Lord’s enduring promises to Israel, even in the midst of His loving chastisements. She writes to call readers back to a plain reading of Scripture, especially in a time when deception is not subtle but increasing, and when foundational truths are too often reinterpreted or set aside.
Courtney lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and their three children. After more than a decade of homeschooling, her children are now in different seasons—one in college, one about to enter her final year of high school, and her youngest currently being taught at home.
