In the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, there are over 300 prophecies given about the Messiah of Israel. In the book “Journey on the Ancient Path – The Way of the Shepherd”, all of the prophecies, about the birth of the coming Messiah, are explained. The author uses the story of a fictional family of shepherds, living in Bethlehem, to show where each prophecy (about the birth of the Messiah) was spoken and then fulfilled. In this book, the young shepherd boy, Josiah, is learning how to be a Levitical shepherd. During this process, Josiah is also taught about these amazing prophecies and the fulfillment as recorded in the New Testament.
